I would have to say the highlight of my weekend was attending the Animal Activist Forum at Abbotsford Covent. I learnt so much at AAF on how to affectively negotiate change, deal with difficult ppl & at all times act professionally. The cocktail party was lots of fun too! The highlight too was being surrounded by so many like minded caring animal lovers :) (2011)

What an amazing couple of days at the Animal Activists’ Forum for 2011! I mean, seriously – it was friggin’ fantastic! There’s nothing like being in a room (or several!) with the people who are the life and soul of the animal activism movement in Australia. It’s exhilarating! Well, I’ve run out of superlatives to describe this amazing weekend. If you didn’t get to come along this time, please, PLEASE consider attending next time the conference is in Melbourne. It’s an incredible experience and you’ll come away feeling empowered, passionate and ready to change the world! (2011)

Thank you so much for organising this past weekend - I personally will be taking a LOT away from being inspired, uplifted, motivated, educated and informed by all of the great speaches I managed to get along to. Even just meeting and exchanging ideas with other activists was fantastic also. All the work you've put in to make this such a successful event will pay for itself multiple times over, by inspiring the people who drive change in others (not sure if this makes sense, but you're even earlier in the chain of the whole "get someone to be vegan, double your effect" thingo - this event is what re-energises activists to get out there, so you guys are in effect inspiring people to inspire others!)
